Planned placements
For children and young people who need a nurturing residential home with clear routines, consistent adults and structured day-to-day support.
A good placement starts with careful thinking. We take time to understand each child’s needs, risks, strengths, routines and relationships before considering whether Young Angels Care Ltd is the right home for them.

For children and young people who need a nurturing residential home with clear routines, consistent adults and structured day-to-day support.
Where appropriate, we can consider short-term placements based on the child’s needs, current risks, care plan and whether the match is right.
We understand how important sibling relationships can be. Where siblings are referred together, we look carefully at their individual and shared needs.
Placement matching is more than whether a bed is available. It means thinking carefully about the child’s history, emotional needs, safety, education, health, relationships and the support already in place.
We aim to work openly with placing authorities and relevant professionals so that decisions are thoughtful, child-centred and focused on stability.
We consider emotional wellbeing, behaviour, communication, education, health, routines, relationships and any specialist support needed.
We review known risks carefully and consider how those risks can be understood, planned for, monitored and safely supported.
We think about whether the home, staff team, routines and other children in the home can support a stable and positive placement.
When a placement is agreed, we want the move to feel as planned and supported as possible. Clear information, thoughtful introductions and joined-up communication help staff understand the child and prepare the right support.
As needs or risks change, care planning should be reviewed with the right people involved, so that support remains safe, consistent and child-focused.
If you are a placing authority or professional looking to discuss a placement, please contact us with as much relevant information as possible. We will review the enquiry carefully and advise on the next steps.
