Work With Purpose

Residential childcare is meaningful work that requires patience, warmth and resilience.

At Young Angels Care Ltd, we want to build a team of people who understand the importance of safety, consistency and trusted relationships. The right adults can make a lasting difference to a child’s confidence, wellbeing and future.

We value people who are calm under pressure, open to learning and committed to supporting children with dignity, respect and clear professional boundaries.

Who We Are Looking For

People with the right values, attitude and commitment.

Caring and consistent

Children need adults who show up, listen carefully and provide steady, dependable support even when days are challenging.

Reflective and professional

We value staff who can think about behaviour, learn from practice and respond with calm boundaries rather than judgement.

Committed to safeguarding

Safety, professional curiosity, accurate recording and clear reporting are essential parts of residential childcare.

The Role

Supporting children through everyday care.

Residential childcare is built through everyday moments — routines, conversations, school runs, meals, activities, boundaries, encouragement and calm responses when things feel difficult.

  • Building positive and respectful relationships with children
  • Supporting routines, education, hobbies and daily life
  • Helping children develop confidence, independence and life skills
  • Listening to children’s views, wishes, feelings and worries
  • Following care plans, safeguarding procedures and professional guidance
  • Recording information clearly and sharing concerns appropriately
  • Working as part of a team to provide safe and consistent care
Our Culture

A team where learning, support and accountability matter.

We want our team culture to be supportive, professional and reflective. Residential care can be challenging, so staff need good communication, clear leadership and a shared commitment to doing what is right for children.

We encourage staff to ask questions, reflect on practice and keep children’s safety, dignity and wellbeing at the centre of their work.

Safer Recruitment

Choosing the right adults is part of keeping children safe.

We take safer recruitment seriously. People working with children need the right values, checks, references, training and ongoing supervision so that children are supported by safe, capable and responsible adults.

Training And Support

Staff should feel prepared, supported and confident.

As Young Angels Care Ltd grows, we aim to support staff through induction, supervision, learning and reflective practice. Good care depends on adults who continue to learn and work well together.

Development

We want staff to grow with confidence and purpose.

We are building a team with strong values, clear expectations and a shared focus on safe, nurturing care. If you are interested in future opportunities, we would be pleased to hear from you.
